Nahuel Fanjul-Arguijo is an Argentinian screenwriter, comic book writer, photographer, and graphic designer based in New York City.
I write about family — the ones we are given, the ones we are stuck with, and the ones we choose. I currently craft my writing as a part of the Protrack mentoring program at the Jacob Krueger Studio in NYC.
The graphic novel I am co-writing with Alex Dvorak, The Nighttime Kids, is currently in development with Maverick, a YA imprint of Mad Cave Studios. The 200-page graphic novel is set to be released in 2024.
My screenplay, Bent Necks — telling the tumultuous beginnings of culture-changing siblings who founded Adidas and Puma — won The Film Empire’s Diversity Mentorship for Screenwriters (2020), was a semifinalist in the ScreenCraft True Story Competition (2020), and placed top 15% for The Academy Nicholl Fellowship (2020).
For over 6 years, I was the principle photographer at The Calhoun School, an independent school in New York City, where I worked every type of shoot imaginable. I began my freelancer career taking portraits of actors and couples, photographing sports and theater events, capturing in-studio brands, and more.
